The Vegas Golden Knights are heading into the season with a clear plan in net, and general manager Kelly McCrimmon is standing firmly behind both of his goaltenders.

Speaking about his tandem of Adin Hill and Carter Hart, McCrimmon made it clear he expects better days ahead from Hill after a difficult campaign, while praising Hart for the role he played in getting Vegas back to the Stanley Cup Final.
I think Adin is going to bounce back," McCrimmon said, according to Nicholas J. Costonika. "I think he's a good goalie who had a tough season. We need him to revert to form. We expect that he will. Carter, for me, made a great impression getting us right to the Stanley Cup Final, so I think we're in good shape at that position.

Hill Looking to Reclaim His Form

Hill has been the Golden Knights' guy since backstopping the franchise to its first Stanley Cup title, but last season was a rough one by his standards.
Vegas retained him over the offseason rather than moving him, a sign the front office still views him as a key piece of the crease going forward.

Hart's Playoff Impact Still Resonates

Hart's play down the stretch and into the postseason left a strong impression on McCrimmon, who credited the goaltender directly with helping push Vegas to a Final appearance.
That performance appears to have solidified his standing with the organization heading into the new campaign.
With both goaltenders under contract and the front office expressing confidence in the pairing, Vegas looks set to lean on a two-man tandem approach once again, mirroring a trend other contenders around the league are also embracing this season.
