Terrible update for Brock Boeser and the Vancouver Canucks
Today a new report from insider Frank Seravalli has given a disappointing update on the ongoing blood clotting issue that was discovered in Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser.
Yesterday it was announced that Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser would miss Game 7 tonight due to blood clots discovered in his leg.
Brock Boeser is OUT for Game 7 vs. the Oilers with a blood clotting issue, per @FriedgeHNIC
His status going forward for the playoffs is unclear, however this is not considered a life-threatening issue.
However, today a new report from Frank Seravalli has now ruled out the Canucks leading goal scorer for the remainder of the playoffs.
Sounds like #Canucks Brock Boeser's blood clot developed in his leg, something team medical staff found after Game 6.
He has been placed on blood thinning medication and is not expected to be available to play again this season.
Brutal break for #Canucks' leading goal scorer.
This is a crushing blow to both Brock Boeser and the Vancouver Canucks. Much of the team's offensive success has come as a result of him. Now the Canucks will need to find someone to fill this hole in the lineup in the most crucial game of the season.
