Brock Boeser's future in Vancouver is seemingly coming to an end, and after a recent post from a fan on social media, that has been all but confirmed.
The Vancouver Canucks had a shocking fall from grace in 2024/25, as many saw them as a Stanley Cup contender coming into the season, and as a result, we've already seen many changes to this team.
With the squad already eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, many are looking towards the summer, where many more changes are coming, with one already confirmed weeks ago.
According to reports, veteran forward Brock Boeser is unlikely to return to the team in free agency, and while nothing is official until it's official, all signs are pointing towards him getting a big deal on the open market.
As if that wasn't enough, a recent post from a fan on social media has revealed that it's almost 100% certain that Boeser, who has spent his entire career in Vancouver thus far will be on the way out in the coming weeks.
The post from a Canucks fan shows that in Boeser's car, he had a jersey signed by the entire team, and while that could be something that simply happens at the end of the year, many are taking it to believe that it's a farewell gift of sorts from the team to a long-time forward.
With great production in recent years (65 goals over the past two seasons), Boeser could likely get more on the open market than he could if he re-signed with the team before free agency, and while he's become an integral part of the team, Boeser needs to do what's best for him now, and at this point, it appears that will be leaving the team.
