Allan Walsh, who is the player agent of Vancouver Canucks defenseman Filip Hronek, said that it's "wasted air" to talk about the rumours that his client has found himself embroiled in.

There have already been multiple trades by the Vancouver Canucks this year, including the blockbuster deal of Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild along with the more recent trade of Kiefer Sherwood to the divisional foe San Jose Sharks.
There have been still several other Canucks players embroiled in trade rumours, including players like Conor Garland, Elias Pettersson, Jake DeBrusk, and now, defenseman Filip Hronek.
But Allan Walsh, the outspoken player agent of Hronek, implied that the Canucks are not going to be trading his client and that there seems to be an understanding in place between them and the team that he'll be part of the future solution.
Talking about Filip Hronek being trade is wasted air. I'm not going to divulge directly my conversations with management. But let's just say there is an understanding that Filip Hronek is going to be part of the solution going forward in Vancouver and not someone that they are going to be looking to move. - Allan Walsh
So far this year, Hronek has 29 points (4G, 25A) in 51 games played.

The Canucks Recently Signed Filip Hronek To A Lengthy Extension

Hronek, who the Canucks acquired from the Detroit Red Wings in 2023, was signed to an eight year contract with an AAV (average annual value) of $7.25 million in 2024.
He went from a rebuilding team in Detroit to a team in Vancouver that appeared ready for title contention, only to miss the playoffs last year by a wide margin and who will miss the playoffs by a wide margin this year as the lowest ranked team in the Western Conference.
In his career, Hronek has 267 points (44G, 223A) in 502 games.
