Connor Ingram was set to return to the Utah Mammoth for the 2025/26 campaign, but now a report has revealed the team are set to part ways with him.

The Utah Mammoth are seemingly building something special ahead of the 2025/26 season, and with the goaltending duo of Karel Vejmelka and Connor Ingram, hopes are very high for this team.
The latter was recently cleared by the NHLPA's Player Assistance Program, with the 28-year old set to take up his role once more as the backup of this team in their first year officially as the Mammoth.

Utah set to move on from Connor Ingram

In a surprise move, reported by Cole Bagley, the Utah Mammoth are surprisingly set to move on from Ingram ahead of the new season, as Bagley reveals he will not attend training camp in order to find a new home for the 2025/26 campaign.
This means that if the Mammoth and Ingram can not find a suitable trade partner, he's likely to be waived ahead of the regular season, and with teams out there needing goaltending, there should be plenty of options.
In 22 games played a season ago, the 28-year old posted a 3.21 GAA and an .882 save percentage, and now that he's cleared the Player Assistance Program, he is set to be a very reliable backup somewhere in the NHL this season.
This means that according to Armstrong, the team will roll with the duo of Karel Vejmelka and Vitek Vanecek as their top two this season, but with teams like Edmonton and Vegas among others looking for depth, he shouldn't have too much trouble finding a new home.
