Ryan Whitney Blasts the Maple Leafs Ahead of Crucial Game 6

The Toronto Maple Leafs are on the verge of blowing a major lead, and now Ryan Whitney has called out the entire organization as a result.
After winning the first three games of their series against the Ottawa Senators, the Toronto Maple Leafs have struggled in the next two, and now find themselves facing a must-win situation in Game 6 if they are to avoid a dramatic, pressure filled Game 7 on home ice.
While that should all be cause for worry, the players, fans and analysts all appear to be very calm and not panicking about the situation, but now, in response to co-host Paul Bissonnette, Ryan Whitney has come out swinging, calling out the entire Toronto Maple Leafs organization and their fans.

Do you see Matthews out there? 2 goals in his last 14 playoff games? Does he look angry out there? All the s**t talk you've talked of the Oilers all year, I see superstars on my team that perform at the highest level when the games matter the most. And I see superstars on your team, and I see Berube come in, Sheldon Keefe let go. Dubas is there, Treliving comes in, Shannahan's there... it's the players.

In that rant, Whitney sums up plenty of feeling among some Maple Leafs fans, who are sick of blaming the front office and the moves that are made and the coaching staff, as when it matters most, their players simply haven't stood up and played like stars.
All of this talk can be silenced with a big win in Game 6 and a deep Stanley Cup Playoffs run, but there's plenty of cause for concern in Toronto moving forward, so with some big names set to hit free agency in the summer, if they blow this 3-0 lead, expect changes to come.
