Craig Berube throws Joseph Woll under the bus, and it's an embarrassing look

Head coach Craig Berube is demanding more, and Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is caught directly in the crosshairs.
The frustration boiled over following a painful overtime loss.
Berube did not hold back during his post-game media availability, sending a clear message to his netminder.
"I know we need a save. Whether it's the OT or one of the breakaways, you know, you just need a big save there."
Publicly challenging your goalie is a massive gamble in this media market.
Woll has shouldered a grueling workload, getting the starting nod in five of the last six games.
He is battling behind a defensive unit that constantly struggles with crisp passing and solid execution.
Joseph Woll clearly disgarees with Craig Berube
Woll said the exact opposite.
"I feel pretty solid, pretty solid in net,"
He noted he plans to review the one-on-one sequences with goaltending coach Curtis Sanford and get some practice reps.
That is the exact professional maturity you want from a young goaltender trying to tune out the surrounding noise.
Throwing the goalie under the bus ignores the reality of Toronto's nonexistent transition game.
Applying intense public pressure on the guy stopping pucks is a questionable motivational tactic.
It's also an embarrassing attempt to keep things together for a coach who has clearly lost his locker room.
Toronto needs to clean up their own end and stop allowing free paths to the net. Unacceptable.
