The Toronto Maple Leafs have confirmed they won't have defenseman Brandon Carlo in the lineup any time soon as he recently experienced a setback and will be out for an extended period of time.
The injuries just keep piling up for the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have already had to play without key players like Auston Matthews and Anthony Stolarz so far this season.
Defenseman Brandon Carlo, who was acquired at the March Trade Deadline from the divisional foe Boston Bruins and who is in his first full year in a Maple Leafs sweater, has experienced a setback and is expected to miss an extended period of time, which may include
having to undergo surgery per the latest information from head coach Craig Berube.
He has to get something done. It didn't go the way we thought. - Craig Berube
Carlo has played in 18 games so far this year with the Maple Leafs and has two assists.
