The Maple Leafs have been full of drama over the past 12 months, and now Brad Marchand has stirred the pot after a stunning free agency revelation.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been a team in a free fall this season, and while it all can't be tied back to Mitch Marner departing in free agency, that was a major source of drama for this organization.
On top of that, they went and missed out on top free agents to replace him, and with frustration beginning to mount for Auston Matthews, this is a team that could be in for some major change in the near future.

Brad Marchand stirs the pot with Maple Leafs drama

Both of those topics were recently broached by Brad Marchand ahead of a matchup with Toronto, as he as he noted just how much of an impact losing Marner has had on this team from the outside looking in.
It's unfortunate the fans ran Marner out of town. I mean that's a huge impact on their group. He's a point per game player, that hurts.
Not only that, but he addressed the recent report of frustration with Matthews, intentionally stirring the pot as he made sure to comment 'if he's still here' when talking about No. 34's future in the NHL.
Clearly, this is just a veteran having plenty of fun with a team that he's considered a rival across his lengthy NHL career, but given Marner's departure and now the struggles that Matthews is having without his favourite career teammate, it's safe to say that there could be a major shakeup coming for this organization.
