Shane Wright linked to Canadian team as Kraken look to make big shakeup

Per a report from NHL analyst David Pagnotta, the Seattle Kraken are reportedly open to trading Shane Wright, their first overall pick from the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Seattle Kraken forward Shane Wright has not blossomed into the kind of player that was expected of him when he was presumed to be the top overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
With the trade deadline coming up, there are rumours that he could soon be on the move.
Per NHL analyst David Pagnotta, there have been reports that the Kraken are open to moving him.
Sources have told me the Seattle Kraken are open to moving Shane Wright. They've been searching for a top-six forward and packaging Wright might get them that. - David Pagnotta
More recently, Pagnotta reported that the Vancouver Canucks could be interested.
So far this year, Wright has 23 points (11G, 12A) in 58 games.
Shane Wright Has Been Linked More Than Once To Vancouver
Former Canucks defenseman Frank Corrado said late last month during an appearance on "Sekeres and Price" that the Canucks ought to look into bringing him aboard.
It would be worth taking, I don't want to call it a flier because the guy was a really high pick, but it would be worth at least seeing what it's going to cost to acquire a player like Shane Wright.
