Seattle Kraken former first round draft selection Shane Wright has moved into the top 10 of NHL analyst David Pagnotta's latest list of probable trade candidates.

It won't be long before the NHL trade deadline rolls around, and there are multiple names who are not only high profile but who have been included in rumours and could soon be on the move.
Besides players like Artemi Panarin, Nazem Kadri and Elias Pettersson, a former first round draft pick has been included.
Shane Wright, who was taken by the Seattle Kraken with the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, has been included in NHL analyst David Pagnotta's latest trade list of players who could soon be moved.
The Kraken have been looking for a first-line player to acquire since last summer and as TFP’s David Pagnotta was first to report, Wright is being dangled as trade bait. If Seattle finds what they are looking for, Wright could be packaged in a deal for an upgrade. - David Pagnotta

Pagnotta also suggested both the St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets as potential fits for Wright.
So far in 52 games, Wright has 18 points (7G, 11A).

Shane Wright Was Taken Fourth Overall By The Kraken In The 2022 NHL Entry Draft

Wright was regarded as one of the possible first overall picks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, and many fans and analysts alike believed he would be going first overall to the Montreal Canadiens, who won the 2022 NHL Draft Lottery.
But instead, the Canadiens took Juraj Slafkovsky, who they have since recently extended to a multi-year contract.
Wright slid all the way to fourth overall, and by the time his name was called by the Kraken, he infamously glared at the Canadiens management team on his way up the stage to accept his new Seattle sweater.
In 147 career games, Wright has 69 points (31G, 38A).
