Blues Head Coach Jim Montgomery Caught Singing on Camera in the Dying Minutes of Game 2 Loss

The St. Louis Blues may be down 2-0 in the series to the Winnipeg Jets, but that didn't stop Jim Montgomery from busting a few lyrics from his favorite song.
The St. Louis Blues are back home, where they trail the Winnipeg Jets 2-0 in their series after both of their first two games were lost in Winnipeg.
Even when they played so well in those first two periods of both contests, their third period has been their weak point, where the Jets have capitalized and taken the lead.
Game 2 demonstrated just how evenly matched the two teams were. Both teams had 22 shots and were defensively disciplined, with masterful goaltending by Connor Hellebuyck and Jordan Binnington.
But yet again, Winnipeg found that elusive extra gear later in the game. Now, head coach Jim Montgomery is tasked with getting all of his players in sync to provide a full 60-minute effort.

One playful incident at the end of Game 2 garnered some attention, as Montgomery was seen singing along to a song blaring in the arena.
This was either a way to stay loose in a series that is highly back-and-forth at the current time, or a welcome smile in an otherwise drab effort.
With the series moving to St. Louis, the Blues are counting on the energy of the home crowd and the advantage of the final line change to turn momentum around.
Defenseman Colton Parayko emphasized the need to be consistent throughout all three periods.
"Obviously they're getting a couple of extra goals in the third. I don't know, other than that, just continue to make sure we push as a group all three periods. That's the biggest thing, putting together 60 full ones."
Even with the losses, there is some level of assurance that the series is not over yet with just how close the games have been.
