The Pittsburgh Penguins have hired Wes Clark as the new Vice President of player personnel, stealing him from the Leafs.

Clark's role will be to handle the team's amateur, professional, and college, as well as European free-agent scouting departments. Dubas will be the man he reports to directly.
The Penguins have named Wes Clark Vice President of Player Personnel.

Clark will oversee the club's amateur, professional and college/European free agent scouting departments and will report directly to Kyle Dubas.
Clark has spent the last six years with the Toronto Maple Leafs, working in different roles with the team. Kyle Dubas is very familiar with Clark, as he used to work with him during his time with the Leafs. It's no surprise he wanted to snatch him from Toronto and bring him back on board with him.
Wes Clark leaves the Leafs for Pittsburgh. Clark worked with Dubas in the Soo and was brought back to Toronto by Dubas in 2018 after two seasons as a scout in Florida.

A major loss for the Maple Leafs, who need a new director of player personnel and amateur scouting

It's no secret that GM Brad Treliving of the Leafs isn't too happy with this move, and you can be sure it will lead to some pretty interesting clashes between the two teams this upcoming season.
