Kyle Dubas has made a reputation for bringing in his former Leafs personnel to Pittsburgh and now he could be looking to poach his next head coach, Sheldon Keefe, from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

There is a lot of turmoil currently in Pittsburgh. Kyle Dubas just parted ways with assistant coach Todd Reirdan and it looks like head coach Mike Sullivan is on his way out next.

The Penguins have parted ways with Associate Coach Todd Reirden, it was announced today by President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kyle Dubas. Reirden is relieved of his duties immediately.

With this comes speculation on who the Penguins next head coach could be. Insider Bruce Garrioch of Post Media shared that the Penguins may be plotting to bring in Sheldon Keefe if he is fired by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

"We'll find out Thursday if the Leafs will go the distance and if it doesn't, then coach Sheldon Keefe likely will be fired. If that happens, the sense is Berube will be a top candidate for the Toronto job and Pittsburgh GM Kyle Dubas may allow Sullivan to move to New Jersey so Keefe can be hired." - Bruce Garrioch

There would certainly be a lot of moving parts but if the Leafs do decide Sheldon Keefe is not the answer behind the bench, their former GM could make a significant move to reunite with him.
