John Tortorella gets brutally honest regarding Carter Hart
John Tortorella just got brutally honest regarding Carter Hart and the Philadelphia Flyers contract discussions from the past summer.
This season has been an absolute roller coaster with the team making many moves and with goaltender Carter Hart leaving the team midseason amidst the 2018 World Junior scandal.Recently John Tortorella commented on the Carter Hart situation and exposed the Flyers.
"Let's face it: things got thrown into a really weird situation when we lost Carter. But having said that, we had discussions in the summer about the situation w/Carter, & figured something was gonna go on, right? We've got to be honest about it." - John Tortorella
Tortorella has now questioned the Flyers and got brutally honest with how it has affected the Flyer's season. With the Flyers expecting Hart to be their starting goaltender this season and him leaving halfway through has certainly thrown the franchise for a loop.
Hart, 25, was solid in the games he played for the Flyers this season as their starter going 12-9-3 and a 2.80 GAA and a .906 sv%. Without Hart, the Flyers have struggled a bit more and are sliding out of a playoff position.
