Brady Tkachuk has been called out by fans plenty in recent times, and after a recent podcast appearance, he's given those haters plenty more ammunition.

Over the years, the Tkachuk name has been a staple in the NHL, with Keith becoming a massive superstar in the 1990's, only to have his two sons arrive a generation later.
Now, Matthew and Brady are two of the biggest names in the National Hockey League, and after being a part of Team USA's Gold Medal winning squad at the 2026 Olympic Games, they're only drawing more and more attention.
Not all of that is good attention however, as fans have called them out for beliefs that they may not share, but they've also been called out on social media for what some fans describe as a lack of intelligence.

Podcast appearance adds fuel to the fire for Brady Tkachuk

While that may not be true, the Ottawa Senators captain didn't do himself any favours during the latest episode of the 'Wingmen Podcast', the one hosted by he and Matthew.
While both were having a winning percentage explained to them, it was revealed that a team that scores first in a Game 7 has a record of 150-50, to which both Matthew and Brady responded 'about 66% or two-thirds of the time', with Brady following it up with, 'see I can read' after doing some maths.
The only issues? One, that is not reading, and two, both brothers quickly and confidently did the math wrong, as 150-50 would be 75% of the time for the team that scores first.
Ultimately, a players intelligence means absolutely nothing when they're on the ice and doing their job, but clearly Brady sees all of this as he addressed it after he did the math (wrong), and now, he's simply adding fuel to the fire.
