Vincent Trocheck is seemingly on the trade block for the Rangers, and at the Olympics, he jokingly suggested the team he'd like to join this season.
The New York Rangers recently made the blockbuster trade of Artemi Panarin, and after the Olympic roster freeze, they're expected to be one of the most active teams in the entire National Hockey League.
One of the players in New York that is reportedly drawing some attention is veteran forward Vincent Trocheck, and with the teams struggles, he likely wants to be dealt to a contender, with the Rangers struggling to put together a clear plan moving forward.
Trocheck seemingly reveals where he wants to end up
Over the next two weeks, Trocheck will be representing the United States at the 2026 Olympic Games, and according to those in attendance, he may have revealed the team he wants to be dealt too.
According to Michael Russo of The Athletic, Team USA was taking photos in their specific groups ahead of the tournament when the veteran forward joked that he should join the Minnesota Wild's group photo.
Given that he's got no NHL connection to Minnesota (as he has never played for the team), this certainly turned plenty of heads, and with the 32-year old playing the position that Minnesota need ahead of the trade deadline, this may lead to something down the stretch.
This year, Trocheck has tallied 12 goals and 36 points in 43 games played, and given how frustrating things have become in New York, if the Wild come calling for Trocheck, it appears as though he's very open to joining the likes of Kirill Kaprizov and Quinn Hughes.
