The latest report from NHL analyst Elliotte Friedman indicates that the New York Rangers are allegedly willing to entertain offers on anyone on their roster, including Vincent Trocheck.

The New York Rangers have confirmed to their fans that they intend to go on a retooling process, and that will include the likely trades of multiple familiar faces.
The Rangers also announced that they will not be offering pending UFA Artemi Panarin a new contract, which means that a trade is likely coming.
Per a new report from NHL analyst Elliotte Friedman, the Rangers are reportedly willing to entertain trades for everyone on the roster.
I think the Rangers love Trocheck. I think their preference is to keep Trocheck. But I think they told him as they told some other guys, the way it's going right now, we have to listen. We can't make you any guarantees, we can't make you any promises, we have nothing bad to say about you, but we have to listen and we have to see what's out there. - Elliotte Friedman
Trocheck has 29 points (11G, 18A) in 35 games for the Rangers this year.

The Rangers Announced A Retooling Process To Their Fans

The Rangers are nowhere near a playoff spot right now, which paves the way for multiple trades.
New York has also been one of the worst home teams this year, and have been shut out on home ice multiple times.
With Panarin likely on his way out of town and multiple other likely impending moves, the Rangers are going to be entering a new era that could include some difficult years as they try and eventually work their way back up into Stanley Cup contention.
