Bo Horvat Disrespects Reporter After Idiotic Question
New York Islanders forward Bo Horvat had a sassy response to a reporters question following last night's win over the Montreal Canadiens.
The New York Islanders played one of their most important games of the season last night as they hosted the Montreal Canadiens.
The Islanders have been hovering just under the playoff line for most of the season, and a recent surge from Montreal has them behind the Canadiens in the standings.
Luckily for New York, the team was able to pull off the victory, although it came in overtime, so they only picked up a single point on Montreal in the wild-card race.
Bo Horvat came in clutch for his team, firing the game-winning goal past Sam Montembeault with just over a minute left in overtime.
He beat the young Canadiens goalie high on his blocker-side coming down the left wing.
It was his 23rd goal and 47th point of the season for the former Canucks captain.
After the game, Islanders reporter Andrew Gross asked him if he was looking for a particular spot to beat the netminder.
Horvat's response was short and rather pointed as he clearly found the question to be dumb.
Of course he was aiming to go high blocker, that was not an accident, and he made it clear how he felt about the question.
With the overtime victory, the Islanders are now tied with the Rangers, two points behind the Canadiens for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
However, they do have two games in hand on their New York rivals, giving them a much better chance of catching Montreal.
Now the Islanders will only have to face him twice a year. And who knows, maybe the Islanders can go on a playoff run this year without him.
