The Montreal Canadiens are excited to bring in highly-touted prospect Ivan Demidov, but one Habs fan is drawing criticism for a controversial video feed.

It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Montreal Canadiens, as they are on the cusp of claiming their very 1st berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs since their miracle run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2021.
Not only are they on the verge of a return to the postseason, but the Habs are also about to welcome highly-touted prospect forward Ivan Demidov.
His contract with SKA in the KHL was terminated, and he's expected to be able to join the club in time for their matchup against the divisional foe Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday in Toronto.
And while fans are understandably pumped up about his arrival, one fan is drawing criticism for taking things too far.
The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro decided to live-stream Demidov's eventual arrival at Toronto's Pearson International Airport, and it appeared as though over 132K fans were tuning in.
Demidov soon arrived, but wasn't interested in interacting with those who were running the live stream:
Before arriving in Toronto, Demidov had a brief stop in Turkey to finalize his Canadian work visa.
Taken with the 5th pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, Demidov is expected to potentially be one of the next great young Russian talents in the League.
Demidov's scouting report via Elite Prospects reads as follows:
Demidov is a dextrous, mechanically sound puckhandler with the sort of fast-twitch wrists necessary to bring his ideas to life. Every move serves a purpose, whether improving the quality of his look as a shooter or creating openings in the defence that he can exploit as a distributor. And the same dexterity and touch that makes him so effective as a handler is every bit as present when he's ready to send the puck elsewhere.

Canadiens fans are justifiably pumped up to see what Demidov can do, especially if he can provide them a boost in the postseason.
