Carey Price will return to the Bell Centre on November 10 as the Montreal Canadiens formally add his name to the arena's Ring of Honour.
The ceremony comes one day after Price is inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, capping off a whirlwind week that closes the loop on one of the most decorated careers in franchise history.
Price becomes the 62nd person in Canadiens history to earn Hall of Fame induction, joining the 2026 class alongside Patrice Bergeron, Pekka Rinne, Keith Tkachuk, Cindy Curley and builder Brian Burke.
His return to Montreal will fall during a home game against the Minnesota Wild, giving fans the chance to salute the goaltender who defined an era in net.
Why Price mattered to the Canadiens
Selected fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Draft, Price spent all 15 of his NHL seasons with Montreal, never suiting up for another franchise.
He set franchise records for games played, appearing in 712, and wins, with 361 to his name. His signature 2014-15 season produced a 1.96 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage and nine shutouts, a run that earned him the Hart Trophy, Vezina Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award, and William M. Jennings Trophy in the same year.
The stats behind the legacy
Price finished his career with a 2.51 goals-against average, a .917 save percentage and 49 shutouts.
He also carried Montreal to an improbable 2021 Stanley Cup Final appearance, posting a 2.28 GAA and .924 save percentage across 22 playoff games.
A Cup never came, but his place as the winningest goaltender in Canadiens history remains untouched.
