After he was traded from the Vancouver Canucks to the Minnesota Wild in a blockbuster deal, Quinn Hughes appeared to show frustration with New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald.

The hockey world was stunned on Friday night when Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes was traded to the Minnesota Wild, a team not many would have predicted.
After his first game in a Wild sweater in which he scored a goal in a win over the Boston Bruins, Hughes appeared to take a jab at New Jersey Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald.
There are other teams that probably could have thrown in certain packages like that, too, but at the end of the day they didn't want to do that or they didn't want to trade two or three assets from their team. Billy did, so I'll remember that and that means a lot to me that Billy did that. - Quinn Hughes

Hughes' goal was part of their 6-2 win over the Bruins yesterday.

Hughes Said He Was Very Open-Minded To Re-Signing In Minnesota

Hughes still has another year left on his contract with an AAV (average annual value) of just under $7 million, a number that will rise substantially on his next deal.
Hughes was asked what his thoughts are of potentially re-signing in Minnesota even though he's only worn a Wild sweater for a single game, and he said it was something he'd be very open to.
Extremely open-minded. They got an amazing core. Just obviously I've only been here four hours, but getting to know some of the guys and how energetic and positive guys are, and then Minnesota being so close to Michigan and just the State of Hockey and the passion here. Just seeing how the fans reacted to me as well in warmups, and then obviously I got a lot of time for Billy for quote-unquote sacking up and making the deal like he did and just how he valued me. - Quinn Hughes

So far in his career, Hughes has 433 points (62G, 371A) in 460 games, 459 of which came in a Canucks sweater.
