The Florida Panthers celebrations for winning the Stanley Cup this year were huge, and now two top stars of the team reveal just how crazy things got.
Last year, the Florida Panthers enjoyed their Stanley Cup celebrations, but this year, after winning back-to-back for the first time in franchise history, things were taken to another level entirely.
Since winning the Stanley Cup over a week ago on home ice, the teams celebrations have raged on, with so much content being posted online, especially from the likes of
Brad Marchand and
Matthew Tkachuk.
In a recent interview with the Spittin' Chiclets podcast, those two and
Sam Reinhart addressed the ongoing celebrations, with the revelation that they were comped a $500k bar tab from the bar that has hosted the majority of their celebrations down in Florida thus far.
That is an absolutely huge number, but given the amount of appearances they've made there over the past eight days, it shouldn't come as any surprise, as the team have spent several nights there thus far, getting great promotion for the bar while also celebrating their Stanley Cup win.
While the Panthers have now won two straight, this is something that may never happen again for any of these players, so while some fans have called them out for continuing to celebrate and calling out the team they beat, it's how teams celebrate, and after going back-to-back, they've got every right too.
At the end of the day, these are just some of the perks of winning the Stanley Cup, and after going back-to-back in 2025, the celebration had to be taken to the next level this season, especially with the arrival of Marchand to the team, and with no signs of slowing down, this is seemingly going to be a fun summer for them down in Florida.
