The Florida Panthers, who have been banged up all year long, suffered yet another blow to their slim playoff chances after an injury to Brad Marchand.

The postseason chances for the Florida Panthers, who have been to the Stanley Cup Final in each of the last three years and won the last two Stanley Cups, are in big-time danger of missing the playoffs this year.
They've had far too many injuries to their most important players, starting at the beginning of the season with an ACL tear by captain Aleksander Barkov, combined with Matthew Tkachuk being unavailable after summer surgery for multiple injuries he played through during the postseason.
There's yet another top player who is dealing with an injury, and it's Brad Marchand, one of their highest producers this year.
Per a report from Panthers analyst George Richards, head coach Paul Maurice said that Marchand is scheduled to visit doctors and will not only miss their next game against the divisional foe Detroit Red Wings but possibly much longer.

So far this year, which is his first full year in a Panthers sweater, has 54 points (27G, 27A) in 52 games.

Brad Marchand Is The Latest Hurt Panthers Player

The list of injuries that the Panthers have experienced this year borders on the ridiculous. Not only has Barkov missed the entire year while Tkachuk missed the first several months, but Seth Jones has missed the last several weeks as well.
The Panthers also suffered injuries to Cole Schwindt and Jonah Gadjovich, along with Aaron Ekblad, Mackie Samoskevich and Gustav Forsling.
It's the price they've paid for advancing to the Stanley Cup Final in each of the last three years.
