Matthew Tkachuk fought through many injuries this summer, and now the extent of the injuries to the Panthers star have been shown in this latest photo.
The 2024/25 campaign was certainly an eventful one for Matthew Tkachuk, as things went sideways with the Four Nations Faceoff, one of the biggest successes for the NHL in recent years, as the USA superstar went down with an injury that caused him to miss significant time.
However, he would return and help lead his team to their second straight Stanley Cup victory, but in the off-season he now finally has to deal with the immense injury toll that's been taken on his body.
Tkachuk's injuries shown off in a brand new picture
Now, the full extent of those injuries has seemingly been shown off in a new photo, as Tkachuk is seen on crutches and looking rather fragile with the team mascot and the Stanley Cup.
That is to be expected however after Tkachuk fought through several major injuries to get back on the ice for the Stanley Cup, and while it was a tough call, the off-season surgery was no doubt the best decision possible.
Getting off-season surgery was something that Tkachuk had to mull for quite some time, but now, after undergoing the surgery he's set to return sometime this season, with the Panthers expected to be the favourites to win their third straight Stanley Cup, and while he looks ginger now, Tkachuk has shown that he can fight through pain to help this team down the stretch.
