Jack Roslovic remains the NHL's biggest free agent, and now, Darren Dreger and Pierre LeBrun have predicted he could be an option for the Panthers.

Despite rumoured interest around the NHL this off-season, veteran forward Jack Roslovic is yet to get a new deal this off-season, and with the opening night of the NHL season less than a week away, he remains currently unemployed.
It's unclear why that is the case, but after turning down a deal from the Edmonton Oilers and changing agents earlier this summer, there's just been no deal out there that meets what Roslovic is looking for.

Roslovic to the Florida Panthers?

However, the injury to Aleksander Barkov may have just opened the door for Roslovic, as NHL Insiders Pierre LeBrun and Darren Dreger speculate that with his connections to Paul Maurice, this could be a fit for the Panthers and Roslovic.
Both Insiders mentioned though that he doesn't play the style that the Panthers are truly looking for, but if they see him as a fit with both Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk out to start the new season, it's a deal that could end up getting done.
Last season, Roslovic had 22 goals and 39 points with the Hurricanes in 81 games played, and given that he's still got a bright future ahead at just 27-years of age, it's confused many as to why he remains a free agent with the new season almost upon us.
Ultimately, it's unclear just what the level of interest from Florida is in the talented forward, but with both parties making sense for one another, it wouldn't be a shocking deal, but if Roslovic doesn't get a deal done now, he may start the new season as a free agent.
