Florida Panthers reportedly listening to offers on future Hall of Famer Sergei Bobrovsky

Over the past three seasons, the Florida Panthers have gone to the Stanley Cup Finals three times, and in that time, they've come away with back-to-back Stanley Cups, the first and second in franchise history.

In 2025/26, many expected them to be competitive again, but after losing Aleksander Barkov early in the season with Matthew Tkachuk already sidelined for several months, that optimism took a major hit.

With the Olympics now over, the team have a record of 29-25-3, and as of right now, they sit 8 points out of the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference, with many expecting them to blow it up if things don't turn around in a hurry.

In a shock turn of events, it now appears as though the team could also listen to offers on some key players, with reports from insiders on the DFO Rundown revealing that Sergei Bobrovsky is one drawing such attention.

Right now, Bobrovsky is in the final year of a seven-year, $70 million deal signed with the Panthers, and with no extension talks looming, teams like the San Jose Sharks are reportedly considering a massive offer to the Panthers to land the veteran.

At 37-years of age, it's unclear whether or not a team acquiring Bobrovsky would look to hand him a long-term deal, but after leading Florida to back-to-back Cup victories, if he can be had via trade, expect some teams to be very aggressive in pursuing him.
