Evander Kane has yet to play for the Oilers this year
Kane has yet to play for the Oilers after undergoing surgery last September for torn hip adductor muscles, two hernias and two torn lower abdominal muscles; he also underwent knee surgery in January.
In March, it was announced that Kane would remain on Long Term Injured Reserve, but that there was a chance that he could return for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which begin later this month.
Last year, he had 44 points (24 G, 20A) in 76 games. He's under contract through 2026.
