Brady Tkachuk disrespects Connor McDavid with comments on new podcast
Connor McDavid is already an all-time great, but according to Brady Tkachuk, the Oilers superstar is never going to surpass Sidney Crosby.
Over the past decade, Connor McDavid has solidified himself as the best player in the National Hockey League, and given the points production thus far, it's hard for anyone to argue that point.
However, with his lack of Stanley Cup success, many still don't see him on the tier of other all-time greats, and on the latest episode of his podcast with his brother Matthew, Brady has called out McDavid's greatness.
Brady Tkachuk casts doubt on McDavid's ability to pass Sidney Crosby
During the latest episode, the duo discuss Sidney Crosby becoming the Pittsburgh Penguins all-time points leader, with many believing he could pass 1,850 points at minimum by the time he retires.
That brought up discussions about Connor McDavid, and while Matthew suggested he could be a candidate to surpass Crosby's incredible record, Brady shut that down immediately.
Matthew: Crosby beat Mario for most points for the Pittsburgh Penguins. I mean, that's just incredible. 1,700 points in a career. There's just no chance, no chance like anybody can hit that.
Brady: I mean, to get that all within one organization? I don't think that's going to be happening again.

Sure, the duo likely aren't trying to be disrespectful, and while this clearly may come as an insult to many Oilers fans, as of right now, McDavid is on pace for 1,750 points by the time he's 35.
On top of that, he would need to do it all in Edmonton to pass No. 87, and after signing just a two-year extension this summer, it's unclear if McDavid will be in Edmonton beyond that.
Ultimately, both Crosby and McDavid will be regarded as all-time greats of the NHL when it's all said and done, but as of right now, it's clear there's doubts over McDavid's ability to pass Crosby in this one major category.
