Elliotte Friedman says Dylan Larkin's 10-team trade list could change in the next 24 to 48 hours, days after the Red Wings suspended him without pay.

Dylan Larkin's list of approved trade destinations might not look the same for much longer.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman said on Saturday Headlines that it's possible the 10-team list gets altered over the next 24 to 48 hours, with teams either coming off or getting added.
That's a big deal in Detroit, where things have gotten messy fast.
"I think over the next 24-48 hours it's possible we see that trade list altered."

Larkin decided Thursday that he won't play for the Red Wings until he's traded, and the team answered by suspending him without pay.

Where things stand in Detroit

Larkin first asked for a trade in June and has since lost the captaincy.
He's 30, and his contract carries an $8.7 million cap hit through 2030-31.
Before the suspension, he had six points in 10 games and was still logging more minutes per game than any other Red Wings forward.
GM Shawn Horcoff said the club will keep exploring trade options, but any deal needs Larkin's approval and has to make sense for where the franchise is headed.
In other words, Detroit isn't planning to take just anything.

Who is pushing hardest

The Minnesota Wild have made the most offers to Detroit since June, according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, and have reportedly been open to including young forward Danila Yurov.
Chris Johnston of The Athletic reported the Canadiens and Sabres are interested as well, though neither team sits on the list right now.
Friedman didn't say a deal is close, and no revised list has been confirmed.
Still, if the list grows, Detroit gets more bidders to work with, and that's usually when a stalled situation starts to move.
Larkin is losing paychecks every day he sits, so the clock is ticking for everybody involved.
