Columbus News Station Goes to Crazy Lengths to Take Down the Montreal Canadiens in Final Playoff Push

After a long, emotional season, the Columbus Blue Jackets find themselves on the verge of shocking the entire hockey world, and there's just one team standing in their way.

That team would be the Montreal Canadiens, who can clinch a Stanley Cup Playoffs berth and the final spot in the Eastern Conference on Wednesday with a single point, but if they don't get that, the Blue Jackets will have a must-win game on Thursday to decide their fate.

Unfortunately though, the situation is all in the hands of the Canadiens, who will do battle with the short handed Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday, and ahead of that game, a News Station in Columbus has gone to great lengths to make the Jackets dreams come true.

In a social media post, the news station WSYX ABC 6 in Columbus wrote letters to former Blue Jacket Eric Robinson as well as Jack Roslovic, a former Ohio Blue Jackets junior player begging them to come out on top against Montreal.

While some on the Montreal side have called out this action, most see it as a very fun situation with the news station playing into how fun a Stanley Cup Playoffs race can be, but make no mistake about it, those in Columbus are desperate to see a Montreal loss.

If that happens, we'll have a must-see Game 82 on Thursday for Columbus against the New York Islanders, and if all of this comes to fruition with either Robinson or Roslovic scoring, don't be shocked if you see this tactic again in the future.
