Sebastian Aho and the Hurricanes beat the Flyers again in Philly, giving Carolina more wins there than the city's three big teams combined this month.

The Carolina Hurricanes turned a trip to Philadelphia into a victory lap, and their social team made sure everybody noticed.
After a second win in nine days at Xfinity Mobile Arena, the Stanley Cup champions pointed out that they have won more games in Philly this month than the Flyers, Eagles and Phillies combined.
The math checks out. Carolina won 3-2 in overtime on Oct. 3 and 4-1 on Sunday night.
The Flyers sit at 0-5-2 to start the season, the Eagles lost both of their October games and fell to 2-3 after a defeat in London, and the Phillies saw their season end with a loss to the Braves on Oct. 1.
That adds up to zero October wins for the three teams.

Aho and Gostisbehere lead the way

Sebastian Aho scored twice in the first game, including a goal just 10 seconds in, then set up the overtime winner.
Shayne Gostisbehere, a former Flyer, finished that one with a power play slap shot 2:51 into the extra frame.
Sunday was more of the same.
Aho and Andrei Svechnikov each had a goal and an assist, Gostisbehere scored again to make it 2-0, and Christian Dvorak got the only goal for Philadelphia.
Carolina has now won five straight after opening the year with two losses.
At 5-1-1, the Hurricanes held the best record in the NHL as of Monday morning.

Rough start keeps getting worse for Philadelphia

The loss was the seventh straight for the Flyers to open the season, a franchise record.
They also came in off a 5-1 loss at Boston on Saturday.
Philly's teams still have most of the month left to change the math, but for now Carolina owns the bragging rights.
