Bayreuther was never drafted into the NHL, but has played within both the Dallas Stars and Columbus Blue Jackets organizations before signing a one year contract with the Hurricanes this past summer.
Neuchev, who was taken with the 74th overall pick by the Sabres in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, had 16 points (6G, 10A) in 34 games with the Rochester Americans this year.
The Sabres Remained Red Hot With Their 18th Win In 22 Games

Today, they won their 18th of their last 22 games, 5-0 over the New York Islanders at UBS Arena.
