Jeremy Swayman Hits a New Low in Disastrous Game Against the Ottawa Senators

As the Boston Bruins franchise attempts to turn a new leaf, goaltender Jeremy Swayman hit a new low against his former teammate Linus Ullmark and the Boston Bruins.
While the team around him moves forward, Jeremy Swayman is stuck behind after hitting a new low in his goaltending game.
Following two dominating wins against both Florida teams, Swayman was set to goaltend opposite his former teammate Linus Ullmark and
the Ottawa Senators.
However, instead of keeping his hot streak alive, Swayman let through four goals in fifteen shots, resulting in him getting pulled for the third time this season.
The 26-year-old goaltender was subsequently replaced with
Joonas Korpisalo for the remainder of the game.
Despite Korpisalo's improved save percentage, it was not enough to make up for the lost ground from the first period, resulting in Linus Ullmark and the Ottawa Senators taking the victory 6-3.
Though Jeremy Swayman has a history of recording multiple seasons with a save percentage over .910, he is performing at an all-time-low of .899 and 2.91 goals-against average.
There is little doubt he will not make an appearance in this season's playoffs, but with him early in the stages of his 8-year contract, the Bruins better hope this down season stays just that: just one season.
If not, Boston could wait a long time before making another serious run for their next Stanley Cup.
