Boston Bruins troll the Maple Leafs after game seven thriller
The Toronto Maple Leafs once again fell short in the first round, and after the game, one of their biggest rivals couldn't help but troll them.
Hockey is one of the most tense, physical and passionate sports in the world, and after taking down their bitter rivals in the first-round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Boston had to take their opportunity. After the series ended, both teams participated in one of hockeys greatest traditions, the hand-shake line, and during this, the TD Garden took the chance to troll the Leafs.
On the video screen above both teams, the TD Garden played live footage of thousand's of disappointed Maple Leafs fans at Maple Leaf Square, much to the delight of the crowd in attendance. This all came moments after an electric finish from David Pastrnak officially thwarted the Leafs attempts to come back from 3-1 down in the series.
Right now, there's absolutely nothing that the Maple Leafs can do about this, but with a talented team, they'll be back in the same position next year, and you can bet they won't forget this happening.
