Chris Kreider Finally Breaks the Silence on Trade From the Rangers to the Ducks

Former Rangers forward Chris Kreider, who was traded to the Ducks during the summer, is breaking his silence over the move and what went wrong in New York.
The era of Chris Kreider with the New York Rangers, who was the longest-tenured member of the team, officially ended this summer when he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks.
He became the 2nd Rangers player inside of a year to be traded to the Ducks, as now-former New York captain Jacob Trouba was dealt there in November.
It was part of what was a truly trying season for the Rangers, who would miss the postseason only a year after advancing to the Eastern Conference Final and winning the President's Trophy.
Kreider is now breaking his silence on the move to Anaheim and admitting that it was a difficult year for him in what was his last go-around for him with the Rangers.
Yeah, it was defensively challenging. I think we would have all liked it to have gone differently than it went, but at the end of the day, we can only learn from it. Some weird, fluky injuries I had to deal with at the worst possible moments. We are all hockey players, we all want to play through some things. It was a tough year, but all you can do is learn from it and try to be better.
Kreider, who had 30 points with the Rangers (22G, 8A), has played in 883 career NHL games, all with New York, and has 582 points (326G, 256A). He also helped the Rangers to a lone appearance in the SCF, which they lost in 5 games to the Los Angeles Kings, the divisional foe of Kreider's new team, the Ducks.
