'No respect': Captain of Team Czechia shares his thoughts on Canada's Porter Martone

The World Juniors is off to a steady start for favourites Team Canada, as they've gone 2 from 2 to start the tournament, but it hasn't been without its struggles and drama.

In Game one, the team avenged last years loss against Team Czechia, but unfortunately for Canadians, it took some late magic for them to seal that one, followed by a disrespectful act from Porter Martone.

After sealing the winner with an empty net goal, Team Canada's captain took it a step too far when he taunted Czechia, a play that resulted in him issuing an apology in the days following the game.

For the most part, many believed that this incident was now dead and buried following that apology, but recently, Czechia captain Petr Sikora responded to the play, seemingly dismissing Martone's apology, especially given that he is the captain of Team Canada.

It doesn't seem as though Sikora or the Czechia team was too happy about the play, and even with the apology, they have dismissed Martone for his disrespectful play, something that he owned up too after the game.

Ultimately, there's a major rivalry brewing between these two teams, and after the 'really dumb decision' as Martone put it, as well as the thrilling game between the two, many can't wait to see them matchup again.
