Sidney Crosby is doing everything in his power to suit up for Team Canada’s massive semifinal clash against Finland despite a nagging lower-body injury.

With hours before the game against Finland, Crosby is skating, and 'wants to play'.
Radko Gudas toppled the Canadian captain in the second period of Wednesday's win over Czechia.
Now the whole hockey world is holding its breath.
Crosby appeared to have his legs split in an awkward collision at the red line.
It didn't look good when he hobbled toward the bench favoring his right leg.
But don't count the kid from Cole Harbour out just yet.

Canada prepares for a war without their captain

Whether or not Crosby plays, Team Canada is still in good hands with Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, and the rest of their superstar squad.
Whether that can get past an impassioned Finland team? We'll have to wait and see.
