Discussions Erupt Over Controversy Involving Leon Draisaitl
Leon Draisaitl scored four goals in the opening game of the Oilers - Golden Knights series, but it wasn't enough to beat Vegas, who won the game 6-4.
To add salt to the wound, Draisaitl wasn't chosen as one of the three stars of the game. It may be minor, but it's still important for players to receive recognition, especially after having a four-goal night.
Discussions Erupt Over Controversy Involving Leon Draisaitl
On Twitter, it didn't take long for fans to complain about the way Draisaitl was treated by the NHL, who chose three Golden Knights players for the three stars, simply because they won and they were the home team.
Then, someone compared his situation with Joe Pavelski's, who also scored four goals on Tuesday.
The difference? Pavelski did it in front of his fans, whereas Draisaitl did it in Vegas.
It's time for the NHL to start being as unbiased as they claim to be.
