Trade finalized between the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets
After the New York Rangers lost to the Florida Panthers last night, a trade was officially finalized between the Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets surrounding Jack Roslovic.
At the NHL trade deadline, the New York Rangers traded for speedy winger Jack Roslovic.
TRADE: The New York Rangers have acquired Jack Roslovic from the Columbus Blue Jackets
The trade involved a fourth-round pick with the ability to upgrade to a third-round pick depending on if the Rangers made the Stanley Cup Finals. However, with the Panthers defeating the Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals, the pick will not upgrade.
Draft condition update:
The 2026 4th round pick #NYR sent to #CBJ in the Jack Roslovic trade will NOT upgrade to a 2026 3rd round pick.
Roslovic performed fine with the Rangers in the playoffs scoring two goals and eight points in 16 games. It is unknown if the Rangers will resign Roslovic or not but at this point, he is a pending unrestricted free agent.
