Ottawa Senators looking to trade captain Brady Tkachuk
The Ottawa Senators could be looking to trade their captain, Brady Tkachuk, after yet another disappointing season from the Sens.
Apparently, the organization's new general manager, Steve Staios, is taking calls about Tkachuk on the trade market, "just to see what they could get in return."
"The #GoSensGo reportedly kicked tires on a potential Brady Tkachuk trade this season, just to 'see what they could get in return.'"
Drafted fourth overall in 2018, Tkachuk was named captain in 2021, and the team considered him to be an important part of the plan. However, that might have changed.
On the market, Tkachuk would have a great value. And as we saw with his brother Matthew, who requested a trade from the Calgary Flames, the Senators could put their hands on two established NHLers who can have an impact on their team.
Many teams should be interested in getting him, but it won't be cheap.
According to a NHL analyst, if Tkachuk truly ends up in the market, the New Jersey Devils could be in the running:
"Could the New Jersey Devils make a push for Brady Tkachuk in the offseason? 🤔 @Rupper17 is just throwing it out there."
The Tkachuk's have their own style: they play with passion, aggressivity, and talent. Brady is exactly like that. Every team want a guy like him on their lineup, and the 31 other teams hate when he's on the ice.
