No Move Clause a Hold Up in Trade Talks
While it may seem straightforward enough that the Wild should trade Kaprizov before he becomes a free-agent at the end of the 2025-26 season, his no-movement clause may prove to make that difficult.
Of note, Kaprizov has a full NMC, so this would be a request for a list of teams he'd entertain a trade to.
Kaprizov's NMC is a full list, which means in order to be traded anywhere, Kaprizov would have to approve of it first. It'll be interesting to see where the Russian phenom ends, if anywhere. We'll be following this situation closely, so stay tuned for any updates regarding the Kaprizov situation.
Per insider Cam Robinson, these reports may not be false, but may be 'premature'. This will be an interesting file to follow.
