Kurtis MacDermid for a 7th-round pick and forward Zakhar Bardakov

We have acquired F Kurtis MacDermid via trade with the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft and forward Zakhar Bardakov.
Macdermid is a depth piece that will bring size and physicality to the Devils' roster. For the Avalanche they get a draft pick and 23-year-old forward prospect Zakhar Bardakov.
The Devils are looking to load up in pursuit of a deep playoff run while the Avalanche can spare MacDermid in the name of recouping some future assets.
