Matthew Tkachuk takes Stanley Cup on crazy adventure to Florida beach
Matthew Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers have begun their Stanley Cup celebrations, taking the trophy to new locations including the Atlantic Ocean.
Following their season-saving victory over the Oilers in game seven last night, the Florida Panthers have been on a continuous party streak. This morning, the team began parading the Cup around famous south Florida locations, including the Elbo Room, a bar in Ft. Lauderdale that was made famous for hosting the first ever livestream over the internet.
Someone just sent me this 😂

The Panthers are currently experiencing what every hockey player has dreamt about. And they are showing their loyalty to their fans as well, by keeping them involved in the celebrations. At one point, Tkachuk and Bennett poured beer out of the cup from a second floor balcony directly into the mouth (and face) of a Panthers fan below.

😂😂😂😂😂
#TimeToHunt After the festivities at the bar, Tkachuk and his teammates crossed the road to the beach, creating an unusual scene where the Panthers forward was waiting for traffic to go by why holding the 35-pound trophy.
Imagine taking a morning drive along the beach and you see Matthew Tkachuk leisurely carrying the STANLEY CUP along the beach?!?!?!? #TimeToHunt #FloridaPanthers
Of course, they only had one reason to go to the beach, and it was not to get some sunbathing in. Rather, Tkachuk just had to make sure that the Stanley Cup felt the crisp water of the Atlantic Ocean.
I mean how can you beat this? Beautiful blue skies, beautiful beaches. And a Stanley Cup Champion hockey team.
