Today a DM sent by a Calgary Flames fan has been leaked where the fan tried to get an environmental organization to help him rig Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Calgary Flames fans obviously have a major rivalry with the Edmonton Oilers. With this in mind one Flames fan has been trying to do everything he can to prevent the Oilers from winning. He went as far as to direct message an environmental company and explain the disadvantages of a team named after oil winning the Stanley Cup.

Dear Greenpeace,
As you may or may not know, the Edmonton Oilers have taken the Stanley Cup Finals to game 7. It would be an environmental PR disaster if a team named after a fossil fuel won the Stanley Cup after coming back down from 3-0. Just think about how good that would make Oil and gas look.

The fan then implores the company to reach out to Gary Bettman in an attempt to get him to rig Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

This is unacceptable. I urge you to get in contact with Gary Bettman to ensure that the refs rig the game in favour of the Florida Panthers.

Florida Panthers are an endangered species. If the Panthers win the cup it would be much more environmentally friendly.

Yours truly,

A concerned Flames fan.

The attempt by the fan seems to have gone unanswered by Greenpeace. Now the Calgary Flames fan will have to rely on the Florida Panthers to come through for themselves in winning Game 7. It will be fun to see if there is any friendly banter between the two sides once Game 7 is completed and a winner is crowned.
