According to LeBrun, over a dozen teams are expected to try and trade for Werenski but the Dallas Stars, Carolina Hurricanes, and Philadelphia Flyers are the prohibitive favorites at the moment.
There will be at least a dozen teams who will inquire over time but some early teams to monitor with interest in Zach Werenski: Dallas, Carolina and Philadelphia.
Werenski, 28, is coming off of the best season of his career which included a gold medal win and a Norris Trophy win as well.
Despite this incredible season, the Columbus Blue Jackets fell short as a team which led to initial questions about Werenski's future.
If Werenski is moved he will likely fetch a massive haul similar to or better than what the Buffalo Sabres got for Bo Byram.
As this trade scenario continues to heat up, we will have to see which of these teams secures Werenski for the prime of his career.
