Today is truly a sad day for both the wrestling and hockey world, as beloved wrestler and hockey fan Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71.

Terry Gene Bollea, who is better known by his ring name Hulk Hogan, has passed away at the age of 71. Medics were sent to Hulk Hogan's house in Clearwater, Florida, this morning due to what operators said was cardiac arrest.
Hogan, who is known by WWE fans for his iconic blonde moustache and bandanas, is regarded as one of the most famous wrestlers in history.
He was extremely popular during his prime years in the 1980s and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. He was inducted a second time in 2020 as a member of the New World Order.
On top of his WWE career, Hogan also had quite a bit of success as an actor. He appeared in several iconic films, including "Rocky III", where he played the character of Thunderlips.
He also starred in a few more films, including "No Holds Barred" and "Suburban Commando."
Outside of wrestling and showbiz, Hogan was an avid hockey fan. He was regularly seen in Tampa Bay Lightning jerseys, pumping up the crowd during many of their famous playoff runs.

Hogan even shared a Christmas memory with the great Wayne Gretzky many years ago.
The mishap occurred decades ago right before Christmas-both Gretzky and Hogan recall it happening on Christmas Eve-when both were living just outside Los Angeles in Thousand Oaks. As the two masters of their craft scrambled to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, the valet mixed up the nearly identical cars of Gretzky and Hogan.

That spiraled a chain of events, causing Hogan to drive home with Gretzky's car-and presents-while Gretzky did the same behind Hogan's steering wheel.

Hogan was even involved in the QMJHL with the Moncton Wildcats, where he made a video saying he was going to run over the rival Halifax Mooseheads.
Mix junior hockey and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and you get an amazing video of Hulkamania threatening to run wild all over the Halifax Mooseheads. The Hulkster gave a shoutout to the Moncton Wildcats.

Rest in peace Hulk, you will be missed by hockey and wrestling fans all over the world.
