Oshawa Generals legend Pat Montgomery passes away at age 42

This afternoon some horrible news has broken as reports are confirming former Oshawa Generals player Pat Montgomery has passed away due to a terrible crime.
Reports are coming out from the Durham Police Department confirming that Pat Montgomery formerly of the Oshawa Generals has passed away after being the victim of a crime.
A personal note:
These are my friends of 30 years going way back to grade 9.
My friends and I are still trying to wrap our minds around this senseless tragedy but I wanna say this: Pat Montgomery was an absolute gem and an @Oshawa_Generals legend.

As of now the exact details of the crime that led to the passing of Pat Montgomery and Andrieana Montgomery are unknown. However, a man by the name of Mark Gordon has been arrested and charged in connection to their passing.
In his OHL career, Pat Montgomery played 3 seasons including 175 games. We keep the Montgomery family, their friends, and all of those at the Oshawa Generals in our thoughts during such a difficult time.
