The Buffalo Sabres entered this NHL season with high hopes of taking a significant step forward. However, their performance has been disappointing, and frustration is beginning to creep in.
Cozens Loses Fight Then Lashes Out on Equipment on His Way to the Locker Room
Last night, the Sabres, who currently hold a 5-6-1 record, suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers, a team not widely expected to excel. Towards the end of the game, Dylan Cozens attempted to rally his team's spirits by challenging Garnet Hathaway. Unfortunately, things did not go Cozens' way.
As evident in the images, Cozens expressed his frustration by forcefully slamming a metal gate into the ground while heading back to the dressing room.
"Dylan Cozens has had my full respect since his days at @WHLHurricanes Cozens' leadership comes naturally to him. I admire his courage, pugnacity. Cozens slamming the metal gate at the bench was his way of telling his sleepy teammates to wake up, battle"
The Sabres' Opportunity to Bounce Back Tonight
Tonight, the Sabres face a crucial challenge against the Toronto Maple Leafs, a division rival they must perform well against to have any hopes of making the playoffs for the first time in years.
