According to Elliotte Friedman, Mike Yeo has officially landed a new coaching job in the NHL.
After being let go as the interim head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers, Mike Yeo has now landed a job as the assistant coach with the Vancouver Canucks.
After Alain Vigneault and Michel Therrien were both fired in Philadelphia, Yeo took over behind the bench until the end of the season when he got let go by the team.
As a head coach, Yeo has a winning record as a bench boss on every team he's been with except the Philadelphia Flyers.
As head coach of the Minnesota Wild, he went: 173-132-44 (.559 win %)
As head coach of the St. Louis Blues, he went: 73-49-11 (.590 win %)
Then came the dreadful Flyers season, he went: 17-36-7 (.342 win%)
Yeo has been a successful coach in this league, he will be very beneficial to the Vancouver Canucks.
